August 2026
Monthly

Global & Regional Activity Overview

Global business aviation activity declined in August, with North America retaining the largest market share. Europe recorded the sharpest monthly decline as its summer peak unwound, while the Rest of World was the only region to post month-over-month growth.

Market Structure & Mission Profile

Short- and medium-haul flights continued to account for the majority of global operations, while long-haul activity remained a smaller share of the market. Domestic missions continued to dominate North American traffic, whereas cross-border flights represented the majority of European operations.

Airports, Operators & Fleet

Major business aviation hubs remained active throughout August despite softer overall traffic. NetJets maintained a leading position across key markets, while Cessna remained the world's most active aircraft brand and the Phenom 300 retained its position as the world's most flown business jet model.

Routes & Market Highlights

Dallas–Houston remained the busiest business aviation route globally, recording 624 flights in August. Seasonal demand eased across major European markets, while stronger activity in Latin America supported growth across the Rest of World region.
